IT (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)

VISION

To conduct a Holy Spirit led ministry under the headship of Jesus Christ to provide technological resources for the equipping of the saints.

MISSION

Create and provide current technology (hardware/software) complimenting the vision of the church; to provide an academic environment in an effort to educate and enhance the technological knowledge, skills, and abilities of the congregation and community; to provide a technological platform to reach souls near and far as instructed by the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To create and maintain First Baptist Church of Capitol Heights (FBCCH) website.
• To research and provide up-to-date technical information for the members of FBCCH and throughout the community.
• To provide resources for technology training at various skill levels.
• To coordinate and provide technological tutoring resources for students in need of additional instruction on a given subject matter.
• To provide computer “comfort zone” skills and resources to senior citizens.
• To provide a safe atmosphere for free Internet access, research and job search.
